Privacy Policy — Knovelty

1. What we collect

We collect the email address you sign up with, the username and avatar you choose, and the flashcards, topics, and review history you create while using Knovelty. We also store basic usage data such as streaks, points, and quiz results so we can power your dashboard.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used to operate the service: schedule your reviews, track your progress, surface public topics, and power leaderboards and friends features when you opt in. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Public content

Topics you mark as public are visible to other Knovelty users along with your username, avatar, and aggregate stats (points, streak, public topic count). Private topics stay private.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored with our infrastructure provider and protected with row-level security so only you can access your private content. We use industry-standard encryption in transit.

5. Your rights

You can export, edit, or delete your topics and account at any time from Settings. To request full account deletion, contact us at hello@knovelty.app.
